This game is breaking new ground. This game is much more expansive than Descent3, and the translation and rotation speed is much greater. Freespace and Terminal velocity had speed, but they lacked 6dof motion.
I hope that the afterburners could be directional though, to enable unique circle strafe dogfighting and not just quick flyby jousting maneuvers. The jetpack in Tribes 1 and 2 is directional: left, right, forward, and backward are all of equal thrust enabling the shooting direction and thrust direction to be totally independent of eachother.

]]>Personally I look forward to Talon more than Star Citizen. Framerate is very important for action games, and Talon is top-notch in the framerate department! Generally speaking if you go crazy in the graphics department framerate usually suffers.
