Beta testers hardware log

Thought it may be a good idea to get a reference going about who is playing on what hardware with what settings. I'll make the start:

Workstation Hardware:

X79 based mainboard, i7-3930K (stock speed), 4x4GB DDR3-1600
MSI N660 TF 2GD5/OC (Nvidia 660)
Sound Blaster Zx
128GB SSD

Dell U2711, 2560x1440

Logitech G9 (mouse), G13 (gameboard)
MS SideWinder 3D Pro via USB converter (joystick)
XArmor U9BL-S (keyboard)

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Most of the game settings are default except the control setup, audio levels, resolution, and pilot settings.

Server Hardware:

Z77 based mainboard, i3-3225 (stock speed), 2x2GB DDR3-1600
120GB SSD
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

All game settings are default except server configurations. Runs dedi server only.

I have had zero problems playing or serving the game so far (in terms of crashes or hangs.)

Re: Beta testers hardware log

Installed it on the oldest computer I own:

875 based MB, P4 2.8GHz, 2x1GB
GeForce 6800 Ultra
Onboard sound (not hooked up tho)
64GB SSD
1680x1050
WXP32sp3

Did only a quick check by firing up an empty Killing Field. A bit choppy, but after dialing down the render depth by three notches and reducing the texture quality by two it became relatively fluid. I'm sure it could be tweaked to actually play on that 8 or 9 year old machine smile

Re: Beta testers hardware log

Ran it on my older rig (which is still pretty powerful):
i7-2700k quad core
8 GB RAM
Geforce GTX 460/1 GB
Windows 7 x64
Sidewinder Precision Pro USB
1280x1024

Perfectly smooth, never dipped under 60 FPS from as far as I could tell, all details turned to maximum.

Re: Beta testers hardware log

As a low-end test, I installed and ran 0.13.9.29 on the following machine:

Pentium4 HT @ 3.0GHz
1.5Gb RAM
ATI Radeon x300
Vista x86

Played Killing Fields and Warehouse with bots.   If I turned off the higher graphics options, set it to 16 bit, it was smooth enough to fly at 1024x768 if there wasn't too much action, but it became really choppy (~10-20fps) in heavy fire or with lots of objects or explosions around.

Re: Beta testers hardware log

Ok, so I think I have enough data to establish a good baseline.

System Requirements:
A Processor
Some RAM
3D Video Accelerator
Windows Not Vista
